Solution Sales Executive - Development & Cloud Solutions – Manchester
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000. Uncapped Commission.
We are an independent software development company that concentrates on delivering custom solutions through web and mobile apps, cloud migration and application modernisation. We are currently a small team and are looking for a sales executive who will make an immediate impact to our sales and go on to become a significant role in the business.
What would I be doing?
Your key responsibilities will include:

Creating and managing lead generation, qualification, contracts, and closure.

Comfortably engaging and developing new business relationships with directors, owners, and key individuals for 5 to 50 employee businesses across the UK.

Utilising the “challenger” sales approach - where you’ll demonstrate outstanding questioning skills within a consultative, solution-lead sales approach.

Demonstrate competency and experience in understanding the client’s requirement and working with them to show that you have the solution to their problems.

Managing ongoing client relationships.

Working with 1-to-3-month sales cycle and deal sizes of £10,000 - £100,000.

Providing an accurate forecast of new business opportunities and meet/exceed monthly revenue target according to KPIs.
What qualifications and experience do I need? (Requirements)
To be successful in this position, the following qualifications and experience are desired:

2+ years of B2B experience in sales, preferably in the technology industry or a related field.

Strong prospect meeting, pitching, and closing skills.

A track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
-
Excellent relationship-building abilities, both in-person and over the phone.
-
Knowledge and/or experience of the “challenger” sales methodology.
-
Excellent communication and presentation skills (listening, verbal and written).
-
Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
-
A general understanding of technology solutions, cloud computing, and related industries.
-
Previous experience working at startup and/or a rapid growth organisation, and a strong desire to do so again.

Experience using Salesforce, Outreach.io or similar tools.

No degree necessary.
Optional:
-
2+ years of SaaS or custom software development sales experience.

2+ years of working in a startup or small business environment.
